The Atlantic Volunteer Fire Department along with Iowa Interstate Railroad, will be providing an event for area residents. Two separate round trip train rides between the two cities will be offered on June 8th 2013.

"It's a great opportunity for something that most people have never done or never get the chance to do, is to take a ride in vintage railroad passenger cars and be pulled by a vintage steam locomotive. Some people may have seen it go through both towns a couple years ago, it's going to be the same steam engine pulling it.

Passengers will be able to board the train for a round trip departing from either Atlantic or Anita. The tickets are $14 for adults and $7 for children under 12 years of age.
